“I want people to see their own power”

Ai Weiwei, Artist, documentarian and activist

My approach of combining the best parts of coaching and a psychotherapy approach means that it is more powerful than just problem solving as with coaching, which addresses the symptom but not the root cause. By using Compassionate Inquiry therapy, we can discover where the problem originated, understanding how choice arises, and we can re-evaluate your priorities, boundaries, and capacity to re-energise you to take on the challenges life presents.

My clients are generally overwhelmed with life; the options on how to feel themselves again or even find who they really are which has been conflicting with other people’s expectations their whole life. Often struggling with emotional and physical health issues with not much success in managing them or knowing how to seek treatment, both with conventional medicine and complementary therapies. Some of my clients know the right things to eat or do, but still can’t change knowing in to doing, and doing consistently to create the change they seek.

“Most of our tensions and frustrations stem from compulsive needs to act the role of someone we are not.”

Hans Selye, M.D., ‘The Stress of Life’

Perhaps you feel like you’ve been living a life that isn’t yours, running on autopilot so long you don’t even know where to begin. Stress is what happens when demand exceeds capacity, and this leads to dysregulation throughout your whole-being. We’ll address the needs of your whole-being.

We’ll work through a range of techniques and practices to unlock the root causes that kept you stuck, stagnated and cause overwhelm. Aligning your body’s systems to create balance. Together, we’ll empower you to respond rather than react, to re-evaluate your priorities, boundaries, and capacity to take control of your emotional and your physical health and let go of the narrative holding you back.

There is no size fits all with my clients. After helping you to understand your needs, I tailor the approach to your needs as opposed to fitting your needs in to my process. At times, I may refer you to other practitioners who will best meet your needs, because your needs are paramount when we work together. The most important thing anyone who is embarking on a healing process is that no one modality is going to work alone, and no combination will be the same for each client.

“Here’s the most important thing anyone who’s embarking on any healing journey. No one modality is going to set you free, is going to heal you or fix you”
